Disney+ Integrates Hulu Watch History for Bundle Subscribers

Disney is rolling out profile linking that lets Hulu bundle subscribers access their watch history and recommendations directly within the Disney+ app. The feature, launching for eligible adult subscribers first, bridges two platforms Disney has fully owned for years. Users can sync their Hulu data to Disney+ without switching between apps.

The integration targets customers with Disney+, Hulu Bundle or Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Bundle subscriptions, with broader rollout planned for later in 2026. Disney also aims to convert standalone Hulu users by letting them access limited Disney+ and ESPN content through the same MyDisney login they already use.

Beyond data syncing, Disney plans to test Hulu features like a live guide within its flagship app. However, the company confirmed that Hulu's standalone app isn't disappearing anytime soon. All existing Hulu subscribers retain access to stream content through the dedicated application, ensuring the service maintains its distinct presence despite deeper integration.
