Paramount+ has released the trailer for the long-awaited sequel film, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, now set to stream on July 25th, a shift from its original October release. This animated movie, announced five years ago, follows an adult Team Avatar and introduces a new Airbender discovered trapped in ice. The trailer teases familiar jokes and callbacks, with most original characters expected to appear.

The film's release was complicated by an early leak in April, which prompted Paramount to change the title from "The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender." A 26-year-old individual in Singapore was arrested in connection with the leak. Despite the leak, Paramount anticipates strong viewership from the franchise's dedicated fanbase.

This movie marks the first in a planned trilogy, with no details yet released for the other two installments. The Avatar universe is expanding with another animated series, Avatar: Seven Havens, set after The Legend of Korra, and the Netflix live-action series has been renewed for a third and final season.
