Adobe is launching Firefly AI Assistant, an AI-powered tool that will orchestrate multi-step workflows across multiple Creative Cloud apps from a single interface. Available in public beta soon, this assistant eliminates the need for users to understand each app's specifics, allowing them to simply prompt the system to achieve complex creative results.

The assistant comes with pre-built Creative Skills and the ability to create custom workflows. It learns user preferences over time and offers context-aware suggestions. Adobe has integrated Frame.io into the experience and partnered with Anthropic to make Firefly compatible with Claude, bringing Adobe's creative tools directly into creators' existing workflows.

Today's announcement also includes new capabilities for Firefly Video Editor and image editing tools. Adobe will showcase more details at its Adobe Summit in Las Vegas from April 19-22. This unified approach represents Adobe's significant push to streamline creative workflows across its entire ecosystem, potentially transforming how professionals approach complex creative projects.
