Following the conclusion of the 27.2 developer beta process in late October, Apple has released the first developer betas of iOS 27.3, iPadOS 27.3, macOS 27.3 Golden Gate, watchOS 27.3, visionOS 27.3, and tvOS 27.3 for testing. These updates mark a new beta round after the public releases of the 27.2 range. The initial builds carry build numbers iOS 27.3 beta 1 (24C5037), iPadOS 27.3 beta 1 (24C5037), macOS 27.3 beta 1 (26C5035), and tvOS 27.3 beta 1 (24K5286).
At this early stage, the specific features of the 27.3 updates remain unclear, though online sleuths are already examining the builds for clues. Apple Insider advises against using developer beta software on primary or mission-critical systems, recommending adequate data backups and use on secondary devices. Public betas are generally better suited for general users.
