Vivo X300 FE: Compact Flagship with Massive Battery but Pricey

Vivo’s new X300 FE arrives as a compact flagship that feels lighter than its predecessors. A 6.31‑inch OLED panel delivers vivid colors, while the aluminum frame and glass rear give the phone a premium look. The design keeps the camera bar tight, reducing wobble and improving one‑handed usability.

Battery life steals the show. The X300 FE packs a massive 6,500 mAh cell, the largest in a 6.3‑inch Vivo. Combined with 90 W charging, the device tops the market, reaching full charge in under 50 minutes. Heavy‑use users can expect a day and a half of uninterrupted playback and browsing.

Internally the phone runs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with 12 GB RAM, a solid choice for mainstream performance. Camera-wise, the 50 MP Sony Lytia 702 sensor handles the main shot, paired with a 50 MP telephoto offering 3× optical zoom and an 8 MP wide‑angle. The lack of a 200 MP wide‑angle lens sets it apart from the flagship X300.

Price, however, dents the appeal. In Austria, the X300 FE starts at €999, while the regular X300 drops to €849 after discounts. Similar gaps appear in India, where the FE costs ₹79,999 versus ₹75,999 for the base model. Until Vivo revises pricing, the FE’s extra battery and design improvements offer limited value.
