Ultrahuman and Les Mills Team Up for PowerPlug: Smart Workouts Meet Recovery Tracking

Ultrahuman and Les Mills have partnered to integrate studio-quality workouts with biomarker-driven recovery insights via the Ultrahuman Ring AIR and PRO. The PowerPlug feature, available for $11.99/month or $99/year, adjusts workout intensity based on real-time recovery data, including sleep cycles and non-sleep deep rest. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between wearable metrics and actionable fitness plans, ensuring users avoid overexertion while optimizing performance.

The Dynamic Recovery metric, central to the integration, analyzes movement, sleep quality, and naps to recommend tailored sessions. If recovery data suggests rest, the app prioritizes BODYBALANCE yoga over high-intensity options like BODYCOMBAT. For women, cycle phases (e.g., ovulatory or luteal) further refine suggestions, promoting GRIT workouts during high-energy periods and gentle routines during recovery phases. This biometric feedback loop adapts plans daily, improving accuracy as users exercise longer and share more data.

By syncing Ultrahuman Ring metrics with Les Mills’ workout library, the partnership addresses a critical issue in fitness tech: misaligned training plans that ignore recovery. Users gain a “constant feedback loop” where workout stats, muscle tracking, and daily goals evolve based on physiological data. This approach reduces injury risks and enhances motivation by aligning sessions with the body’s readiness.

The PowerPlug launches Apr 22 in the Ultrahuman app, building on prior collaborations like the Click Therapeutics migraine-tracking feature. For fitness enthusiasts, this integration offers a smarter path to balancing exertion and recovery—a key differentiator in the crowded wearable market.
