Motorola debuted the Edge 70 Max overseas with a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Extreme AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and 7,000 nits peak brightness. The standout feature is its massive 7,100mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging with integrated magnets—something Samsung hasn't yet implemented.

Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3nm, Oryon cores), the phone offers 36% CPU, 11% GPU, and 46% NPU gains. It comes with 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 50MP Pantone Skin Tone validated main camera plus 8MP ultrawide/macro and 32MP selfie.

The all-glass back design launches in India on July 20 for ₹59,999 (~$622) in Dark Shadow, Aqua Gray, and Ice Melt. No U.S. release date announced. Android Central notes Motorola's 18% market share growth in Q1 2026, calling this device a compelling move.
