watchOS 27 Beta 2 Rolls Out, Siri AI Still Pending

Apple released the second developer beta of watchOS 27 today, completing this summer's beta wave that began with iOS and iPadOS updates. The build can be installed through the Watch app on an iPhone that already runs iOS 27, but it skips the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which remains unsupported.

The first beta omitted the promised Siri AI integration, a feature Apple highlighted as essential for a unified voice experience across its ecosystem. Apple says the upcoming watchOS version will let the wrist‑based assistant access the same data and personalization as its iPhone counterpart, aiming to end the fragmented Siri landscape.

Developers can now test whether Siri AI finally appears in this beta, while consumers watch for a smoother, single‑Siri interaction on their watches. If the feature lands, it will align watchOS with the AI upgrades already rolling out on iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS, delivering a consistent voice assistant across all Apple devices.
