Two iOS 27 Features Delayed Past Monday Launch

Two iOS 27 features need more testing and won't ship until a future update, despite being present during the beta period.

Suggestions in Messages conversations and the option to automatically fix compromised passwords with a tap will not be in the initial version of iOS 27, and will instead launch in a later version.

Apple noted the delays on its iOS 27 page, as well as its iPadOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate pages, as these are cross-platform features.

The Passwords app uses Apple Intelligence and Safari to fix compromised passwords in the background. In Messages, Apple Intelligence surfaces one-tap suggestions based on what's being discussed.

An iOS 27.1 update will come before October 23 because the iPhone Duo ships with it pre-installed. We could get the new features as soon as iOS 27.1.

iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 launch to the public on Monday, September 14.
