Pastebot 3 requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later and offers a 14-day free trial. It can be purchased directly from Tapbots for $39, which includes one year of updates. Alternatively, users can subscribe through the App Store at $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year. Owners of Pastebot 2 are eligible for a discounted upgrade price of $12.99 by providing their existing license key.

Key features of Pastebot 3 include clipboard history, custom and smart pastebins for organizing clippings, a quick paste menu accessible via Shift + Command + V, and powerful filters for manipulating pasted content. Users can also create 'Stacks' to paste multiple items sequentially. Additional functionalities include iCloud Sync, Shortcuts and CLI support, and universal clipboard.
