Apple released iOS 27 beta 4 today, introducing a handy new Automatic Downloads feature in the Apple TV app. The toggle, found under “TV” in Settings, ensures the next two episodes of any show you’re watching are pre‑downloaded and ready to watch, then deleted once you finish.

Aaron Perris notes that the feature is designed to keep viewers connected while on the move. To enable it in iOS 27 beta 5, open Settings, scroll to “Apps,” find “TV,” and toggle on Automatic Downloads.

This addition aims to eliminate buffering and keep you glued to your favorite series, even in areas with spotty internet. Apple will monitor its reliability as users test the new functionality.
