Apple continues to refine iOS 27 with the release of its fourth developer beta. While fewer changes are present compared to previous betas, new features are still being introduced.

The TV app now includes an "Automatic Downloads" toggle in Settings, which will download the next two episodes of shows in "Continue Watching" and delete them upon completion. Photos app settings feature a "Zoom Photos to Fill" toggle, which slightly zooms photos that nearly match the screen's aspect ratio and is enabled by default.

The wallpaper feature previously added to Notification Center in beta 3 has been removed. Siri's voice selection interface has been updated, offering more options and a custom voice look on devices without prior customization. This custom voice is currently limited to the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. Siri settings also allow for adjusting the length of app previews and an "Always Show Request" toggle for transcriptions in Accessibility.

Additional updates include a splash screen explaining the Siri Search or Ask interface, a ProRes log format option in Camera settings (including the new Log 2 format), individual Wi-Fi network control for Connectivity Assist, updated AirPods options in Control Center, and code references to an iPhone with two batteries, potentially hinting at the iPhone Ultra.
