Apple TV released the first trailer for Mayday, an action‑comedy spy movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh. The film follows U.S. Navy pilot Lieutenant Troy “Assassin” Kelly (Reynolds) who is sent on a top‑secret mission into Russian territory during the Cold War. The mission goes awry, leaving him stranded behind enemy lines.

He is discovered by Nikolai Ustinov (Branagh), a gruff ex‑KGB agent with a taste for American culture. What follows is an unlikely alliance that could lead to Troy’s rescue and a bond neither expected. Mayday is co‑written and co‑directed by longtime collaborators John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, whose past projects include Vacation, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and Horrible Bosses.
