Apple TV+ is expanding its film library with five new movie premieres slated for release between late July and November. The slate includes a sports comedy, an action-comedy, an action-adventure, a drama based on true events, and a coming-of-age story. This push for original film content signals Apple's continued investment in its streaming service.

This lineup features a mix of familiar faces and compelling narratives. "The Dink" stars Jake Johnson and Ed Harris in a pickleball-themed comedy, while Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh bring an espionage action-comedy called "Mayday" in September. John Cena leads the action-adventure "Matchbox The Movie" in October.

Further bolstering the fall schedule are "Tenzing," a drama recounting the first ascent of Mount Everest, and "Way of the Warrior Kid," a drama inspired by SEAL training, starring Chris Pratt and Jude Hill. These releases aim to attract a broad audience and add depth to Apple TV+'s growing catalog.

The streaming service, available for $12.99 per month or via Apple One bundles, continues to compete by offering exclusive original films and series.
