Apple informed the court in a new filing that Jon Prosser's legal team has not responded to outstanding discovery requests for about a month. Prosser's counsel attributed the delay to Prosser caring for his newborn child.

Last year, Apple sued Prosser for allegedly leaking trade secrets related to the "Liquid Glass" redesign after accessing an Apple employee's iPhone. While co-defendant Michael Ramacciotti has cooperated, Prosser initially failed to respond, leading to a default judgment against him. This default was later set aside, and Prosser provided some documents and sat for a deposition on June 16, 2026.

However, Apple stated they last heard from Prosser's counsel on July 6, 2026, despite attempts to communicate. Deficiencies in Prosser's productions were noted. Prosser's lawyer explained the recent delay was due to the birth of Prosser's second child. Ramacciotti is expected to provide supplemental responses and a second deposition in September.
