1Password, a company focused on password management tools for the age of agentic AI, has launched 1Password for Agents, a platform designed to keep logins and secrets secure while AI agents complete tasks.

The company previously introduced a special integration with Claude in July. The new platform goes further by connecting directly to personal AI agents, whether a user has one or several. According to 1Password, the agents can work on users' behalf without ever seeing their passwords.

At launch, 1Password for Agents works with Meta's Muse and Space XSI's Grok Bot. Integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic and a number of other partners are planned. The company announced the platform on X, naming companies including Muse, Grok Bot, Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI, Perplexity and Ramp among its partners.

A waitlist is currently open for the new platform, and interested users can sign up through the company's site. A full announcement with more details is also available from 1Password.
