A Little Rock defense attorney was arrested in Texarkana after allegedly tampering with evidence in a stabbing case involving a FedEx driver. Zoe Jackson faces charges after police say she removed a knife from the scene of the attack at an EZ Mart store on East 9th Street. The incident occurred Tuesday when a disagreement between the suspect and the FedEx delivery driver escalated into violence.

Police say the suspect, described as a slender Black man in his early 20s, stabbed the FedEx driver before dropping the knife and fleeing. Jackson, who was with the suspect, allegedly retrieved the weapon and placed it inside her vehicle before leaving. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds. Texarkana Police Department officers responded to the initial call and quickly identified Jackson as a person of interest.

Jackson is currently being held in the Miller County Jail on charges of tampering with physical evidence. The FedEx driver's condition has not been released. The case highlights the legal consequences of interfering with criminal investigations, even for those familiar with the justice system. Investigators continue to search for the stabbing suspect as the investigation progresses.
