A Virginia woman faces multiple felony charges after police say she intentionally rammed another vehicle and stabbed a driver during a road rage incident on Emancipation Highway in Fredericksburg. According to authorities, 28-year-old Alexis Spencer is accused of striking the victim's car multiple times before exiting her vehicle and stabbing the driver in the hand with a knife. Officers responding to the scene arrested Spencer, who was holding the knife. The victim suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being released.

The incident unfolded around 5:00 p.m. on February 27th. Police initially responded to a report of a collision in the 2200 block of Emancipation Highway. While en route, officers received additional information indicating the suspect's vehicle was fleeing the scene. The driver of the struck vehicle followed Spencer's car, leading both vehicles to stop in the 3300 block of the highway, where the alleged assault occurred. Spencer is currently being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Spencer faces four counts: malicious wounding, felony hit-and-run, assault, and aggressive driving. This violent encounter underscores the potential severity of road rage incidents and the swift legal consequences for such actions. The case remains under investigation by the Fredericksburg Police Department.
