Virginia State Police identified the victims in a deadly Interstate 495 stabbing that left two dead and several injured. The incident began around 1:20 p.m. Sunday when a state trooper encountered Jared Llamado, 32, armed with a knife near Exit 52 in Fairfax County. The trooper fired in self-defense, and Llamado later died at a hospital.

Four stabbing victims were found at the scene. Michelle Adams, 39, died from her injuries, along with a dog that was also fatally stabbed. The three surviving victims - Dana Bonnell, 36, Mary C. Flood, 37, and Heather Miller, 40 - were hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators believe the violence followed a crash on the highway, though details remain under investigation.

The trooper involved has been placed on administrative leave, standard procedure in such cases. Officials say the incident is not believed to be terrorism-related. The investigation continues as authorities work to determine the exact sequence of events that led to this deadly road rage confrontation.
