The Duchess of Meghan is in early discussions about joining a potential third season of Netflix's The Gentlemen, according to the BBC. Created by Guy Ritchie, the comedy series follows a duke who becomes a drug baron and has filmed much of its first two seasons in the Cotswolds. While Netflix has not yet ordered a third season, the talks mark Meghan's first major acting role since her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018. She previously starred in the legal drama Suits for seven seasons. Meghan recently made a cameo appearance in the upcoming comedy Close Personal Friends. The discussions come as Meghan and Prince Harry prepare to relocate to the UK later this month with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The family will reportedly settle in a private residence outside London, where the children are set to begin British schooling in September. The couple's return has raised questions about their security arrangements, as they previously paid for their own protection while living in the US. There are currently no plans for them to resume working royal duties.

Meghan's representatives and Netflix have not commented on the potential role or any details surrounding the character she might play. The Gentlemen also features actors Theo James, Hugh Bonneville, and Vinnie Jones across its episodes.
