After nearly six years, the historic Navajo Hogan restaurant in Colorado Springs is slated to reopen under new ownership. The establishment, a local landmark since 1935, closed in May 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic and damaging fires. The reopening marks a significant event for the community, promising a revitalized dining experience.

The new owner, Bobby Couch of Green Line Grill, has overseen extensive remodeling for about a year. Renovation efforts include the restoration of the iconic 17-foot neon sign. A new menu is also planned, crafted by Couch and executive chef Ketil Larsen. The original name, Navajo Hogan, will be retained.

The restaurant's reopening is a testament to the community's desire to preserve a piece of local history. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The new owners aim to breathe new life into the historic building, with a planned reopening in March 2026.
