A three-car collision occurred Sunday morning in Dayton when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of West Hillcrest Avenue and North Gettysburg Avenue. Dayton Police responded to the crash around 8:56 a.m., according to News Center 7 reports.

A Honda Odyssey traveling westbound on West Hillcrest Avenue ran the red light and struck a northbound Chevrolet Express. The Honda then spun into the path of a Cadillac CTS, which also traveling northbound, hitting the Honda. The chain-reaction crash involved three vehicles and multiple occupants.

The 46-year-old male driver of the Honda sustained suspected minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He was cited for causing the crash. The Chevrolet driver reported no injuries, while the 24-year-old male Cadillac driver was transported to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Dayton Police.
