Rightmove's 2025 revenue climbed 9% to £425.1 million, meeting analyst expectations, and sent shares surging more than 5% after the property portal unveiled a £90 million share buyback. The London-listed company's performance ended a punishing streak for the stock that had endured heavy losses since November.

Operating profit rose 9% to £297.7 million, with basic earnings per share jumping 15% to 28.1 pence. Average Revenue per Advertiser grew £97 to £1,621, though growth slowed in the second half. Agency revenue contributed £304.7 million, while New Homes brought in £75.3 million.

Rightmove maintained 2026 guidance for 8-10% revenue growth, projecting stronger performance later in the year. The company cited fewer New Homes developments and strong mortgage revenue comparators. The £90 million buyback, to be completed by July 2026, marks the first time Rightmove has pre-announced such a program.
