Next plc raises its pre‑tax profit forecast to £1.135 billion, up from £1.105 billion, marking the fourth upgrade in eight months. Full‑price sales grew 10.5% in Q3 to 25 Oct, with UK sales up 5.4 % and overseas sales surging 38.8%.

International gains were driven by higher digital‑marketing spend and better stock availability, overcoming last year’s supply‑chain issues. Despite a cautious note on a possible UK slowdown later in the year, Next lifted 4th‑quarter full‑price sales guidance to 7.0 %.

Shares jumped ~5 %, extending a YTD gain of nearly 48 %. CEO Simon Wolfson said uncertainties in the domestic economy remain, but the firm is well‑positioned. RBC Europe analysts noted that rising real wages and accelerated global expansion will benefit the retailer.

Next’s performance underscores robust demand and strategic execution amid inflation, supply pressures and cautious consumer sentiment that challenge many retailers.
