President Xi Jinping and first lady Peng Liyuan have landed at Joint Base Andrews for a high-stakes summit with President Donald Trump, as the Chinese leader makes his first visit to Washington since 2015. Trump will greet Xi and Peng at the military base in Maryland on Wednesday evening local time, the first time a US president has welcomed a visiting world leader at the base in more than six decades.
