Microsoft FY26 Q4 Earnings: Revenue Up 18%

Microsoft Corp. reported strong fourth quarter fiscal year 2026 results for the period ending June 30, 2026. Revenue reached $90.0 billion, an 18% increase year-over-year. Operating income and net income also saw significant growth, with net income climbing 31% on a GAAP basis to $35.8 billion.

Diluted earnings per share were $4.81 (GAAP), a 32% increase. Non-GAAP results, excluding certain investments, showed a 23% rise in diluted earnings per share to $4.74. The company noted a $3.2 billion gain from its investment in Anthropic contributed to exceeding expectations.

Microsoft Cloud revenue surged 27% to $59.3 billion. Azure and other cloud services revenue increased by 43%. "Azure revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time," stated CEO Satya Nadella. Microsoft 365 Copilot also reached over 30 million paid seats.

For the full fiscal year 2026, revenue totaled $331.8 billion, up 18%. The company returned $10.2 billion to shareholders in Q4 through dividends and repurchases.
