Pictet Alternative Advisors closed its sixth private equity co-investment fund at $1.53 billion, marking the largest in the series and exceeding its target. The fund, Monte Rosa Co-Investments VI, represents a more than 50% increase from its predecessor, which secured $900 million in 2023. This substantial raise demonstrates strong investor confidence in Pictet's co-investment strategy despite challenging market conditions.

The oversubscribed fund attracted capital from insurance companies, pension funds, family offices, and private clients across Europe, Asia, and North America. Notably, Pictet secured commitments from both returning and first-time investors, indicating expanding interest in its co-investment approach. The successful fundraising comes amid a period of uncertainty in private markets, where many firms have struggled to meet targets.

Pictet's strategy focuses primarily on buyout co-investments, with a smaller allocation to growth and venture deals. The fund's size and oversubscription reflect investors' continued demand for direct opportunities in partnership with established managers. Pictet now has substantial capital to deploy across attractive co-investment opportunities in the coming quarters.
