The haul cleared the vehicle’s $4bn target, a result the firm attributed to strong demand from both new and existing limited partners across its global investor base. The programme gives investors access to a diversified portfolio of direct co‑investments across buyout and growth equity, deployed alongside leading private markets sponsors.

CVC reported that the total comes in at almost twice the fund’s €1.75bn target, a result CVC attributed to investor confidence in its track record and pan‑European platform. Catalyst III pursues a sector‑agnostic strategy, targeting high‑quality, growth‑oriented mid‑market businesses across Europe with equity investments below €250m.

Total commitments to Eurazeo Secondary Fund V (ESF V) and associated vehicles more than doubled the firm’s previous secondaries programme, which closed at €1bn in 2021. Eurazeo attracted commitments from a diversified global investor base spanning sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, financial institutions, family offices, and private wealth clients.
