World number one Scottie Scheffler will take a two-stroke lead into the final round of the St Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis. The 30-year-old American carded a two-under 68 on Saturday to sit at 13 under overall, with Sam Burns (11 under) and South Korea's Im Sung-jae also in contention.

Burns produced a superb bogey-free 62 to move into the final pairing alongside his close friend Scheffler. England's Tommy Fleetwood, the defending FedEx Cup champion, trails by three strokes at eight under alongside Jake Knapp.

"Strategy is still the same, just go out there and execute," said Scheffler, who last led an event after 54 holes at the 2025 Open Championship. "It will be fun being out there with your friend but it's also a bit weird."

Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose faltered badly on the 18th hole, sitting at six over. The top 50 players in the FedEx standings will advance to next week's BMW Championship.
