Scottie Scheffler dominated the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, securing an eight-shot victory with a final-round 66 to finish at 17 under par. The 30-year-old, now the third-youngest to reach 21 PGA Tour wins, overcame a rare bogey on the third hole — caused by a bunker shot hitting a sprinkler head — to birdie holes five and six, then add three more on the back nine.

Despite challenging conditions in the Memphis heat, Scheffler remained composed, stating, "It feels good to be answering some different questions at the end of this week." Si Woo Kim finished as solo runner-up at nine under, while Tommy Fleetwood faded on the back nine to tie for seventh at six under.

Rory McIlroy struggled in his return to PGA Tour action, ending the week 66th on the leaderboard. The FedEx Cup Playoffs continue next week at the BMW Championship, but several big names, including Jordan Spieth, will miss the cut after failing to reach the top 50 in the standings.
