Gregor Hiddleston and Seb Stephen earned surprise call-ups to Scotland's 36-man squad for the summer tour, with the uncapped Glasgow Warriors hookers joining an experienced group. Hiddleston, 24, has two Scotland A caps while Stephen, 20, featured for Emerging Scotland last year.

Jack Dempsey makes the squad despite his imminent move to Japan, with Finn Russell included in the experienced group. Sione Tuipulotu continues as captain, while Blair Kinghorn and Grant Gilchrist are rested. Huw Jones misses out due to injury.

Scotland faces Argentina in Cordoba on 4 July, South Africa in Pretoria on 11 July, and Fiji in Edinburgh on 18 July. The team finished third in Six Nations with three wins out of five matches this year.
