Leigh Leopards secured their fifth consecutive victory with a 28-12 win over play-off rivals Warrington Wolves, moving into fifth place and level on points with their opponents. Early tries from David Armstrong and Lachlan Lam established control, and despite a response from Toafofoa Sipley, further scores from Innes Senior, Joe Ofahengaue and Umyla Hanley put the game beyond doubt before Albert Hopoate's late consolation.

The match saw both sides lose a player to the sin-bin, with Super League's record try-scorer Josh Charnley and Warrington's Leon Hayes dismissed for dangerous tackles. Ofahengaue's brute-force try and Hanley's individual brilliance — combining strength, footwork and handling — sealed the result in the second half.

Since losing twice to Warrington in April, Leigh have won 10 of 12 games, including victory at Magic Weekend. With five of their last seven fixtures at home, they remain firmly in the top-six hunt. Next up is a local derby against Wigan Warriors on Friday, while Warrington travel to Castleford Tigers seeking to arrest a slide of three defeats in four matches.
