Cassandre Beaugrand and Matt Hauser each claimed a third World Triathlon Championship Series win in London, where British hopes were derailed by bike crashes. Tilly Anema hit a cone while leading, and Olympic champion Alex Yee crashed before the second transition, finishing 14th.

Hauser won the men's race in 50:28, edging Portugal's Vasco Vilaca by three seconds in a sprint finish, with Hungary's Csongor Lehmann third. Yee posted the fastest run split but lost over a minute. In the women's race, Beaugrand triumphed in 56:06, five seconds ahead of world champion Lisa Tertsch, with Sweden's Tilda Mansson 15 seconds back. Beth Potter and Georgia Taylor-Brown were top Britons in fourth and sixth.

Beaugrand recovered from a poor swim to lead on the run, while Hauser and Vilaca battled throughout before the Australian pulled clear on the final corners. Potter retains the women's series lead with Beaugrand sixth; Vilaca leads the men's standings with Hauser third.
