Scottish freestyle skier Kirsty Muir is determined to return stronger after finishing fourth in both the slopestyle and big air events at the Winter Olympics. The 24-year-old, who missed out on bronze by razor-thin margins (0.41 points in big air, 3.5 points in slopestyle), insists she has 'a lot more to give'. Her frustration with the near misses is actually a powerful motivator, she told BBC Sport. 'It is a big motivation,' Muir stated, explaining how her experience in Italy fuels her drive to push her skiing and the sport forward.

She emphasized the importance of focusing on learning new tricks and personal growth over the next two years, planning to return to competition fully prepared for future qualification.
