Week four of the Irish Premiership delivered a clean sweep of five away wins, with four teams — Dungannon Swifts, Carrick Rangers, Crusaders and Linfield — all sitting on nine points, just one point behind early leaders Coleraine.

Dungannon Swifts have shown marked improvement after a 3-1 opening-day defeat to Coleraine. Under Rodney Mc Aree, they have since secured victories over Portadown, Bangor and Cliftonville. Former Portadown boss Niall Currie praised the squad as the "strongest" in the club's history, highlighting new signings like Kris Lowe and midfielder Sean Mc Allister, who has scored three goals.

Carrick Rangers continue their fine form, building on last season's seventh-place finish. Paul Heatley, persuaded out of retirement by manager Stephen Baxter, has already netted three goals. Their 4-0 win over Bangor showcased their dominance, with Seasiders manager Lee Feeney noting they were "lucky it was only four".

Crusaders bounced back after securing Premiership status through the play-offs and losing their opening fixture to Cliftonville. A 2-1 win over Glentoran at the Oval extended their winning run to three, demonstrating resilience under Declan Caddell following a challenging off-season rebuild.
