Australia all‑rounder Aaron Hardie powered Peshawar Zalmi to a second Pakistan Super League crown, delivering a four‑for‑27 spell and an unbeaten 56 as the side chased down 130 in Lahore. Hyderabad Kingsmen, making the final in their debut season, were bundled out for 129. Their bowlers kept pressure tight throughout, and the crowd erupted.

Zalmi entered the final as leaders, then beat Islamabad United. Hyderabad’s innings stalled after a 71‑2 start; a flurry of wickets – four for three runs – saw them tumble to 129. Saim Ayub contributed a steady 54, while Hardie claimed three more scalps, dismissing Marnus Labuschagne, Hassan Khan and Akif Javed. Hyderabad’s powerplay advantage evaporated as Bracewell effected two crucial run‑outs, further destabilising the chase.

Chasing 130, Peshawar slumped to 40‑4 before Hardie teamed with Abdul Samad, who added 48, to forge an 85‑run fifth‑wicket partnership. Samad fell after a catch, but Hardie saw the side home with 28 balls remaining. Kingsmen could only muster four from Farhan Yousuf, confirming Zalmi’s dominance in the final.
