Inter Milan have completed the signing of Curtis Jones from Liverpool for 35m euros (£30m). The deal includes an initial payment of 30m euros (£25.7m) plus 5m euros (£4.3m) in add-ons, with Liverpool securing a 10% sell-on clause.

The 25-year-old midfielder has signed a contract with Inter running until 2031. Liverpool initially rejected a verbal offer of 25m euros from Inter in June, valuing Jones at around £35m. The former academy graduate made 228 appearances for the Reds after being given his debut by Jurgen Klopp in 2019.

Last season, Jones played 49 times across all competitions but struggled for regular playing time under Arne Slot, making only 18 Premier League starts. Inter had shown interest in January with a loan proposal that was rejected.

Jones becomes the third English player to join Inter this summer, following John Stones and Djed Spence.
