If those races cannot be held, the season finale would likely take place in Europe, with Imola the front‑runner circuit. F1 has already cancelled the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix because of the US‑Israel war with Iran, and Malaysia stepped in as a replacement to keep the 21‑race calendar.

Domenicali also wants a race after the Las Vegas GP on 21 November, avoiding clashes with the NFL in the US. The opening race next year will revert to Bahrain after two years in Australia, timed around the Ramadan month.
