Connacht produced a stunning late comeback to defeat the Stormers 33-24 in Cape Town, scoring three tries in the final 16 minutes of their United Rugby Championship clash. Stuart Lancaster's side secured their sixth consecutive URC victory, boosting their play-off hopes with a bonus-point win that showcased their resilience.

Despite losing Deon Fourie to an early yellow card, the Stormers took a 24-19 lead with tries from Evan Roos, Ntuthuko Mchunu, and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu. The South African side, sitting four points behind leaders Glasgow before kickoff, controlled much of the match through clinical finishing and strong set-piece work. Connacht's first-half try came from Shamus Hurley-Langton after a lengthy TMO review confirmed he stayed in play.

With 10 minutes remaining, Connacht mounted their decisive charge. Ben Murphy finished a flowing move started by Shayne Bolton's offload, followed by John Devine's powerful run and Sean Naughton's intercept try. Sam Gilbert converted all three late scores, securing a nine-point victory that demonstrated Connacht's championship credentials and dealt a blow to the Stormers' domestic ambitions.
