Ulster and Stormers shared a 38-38 draw in a United Rugby Championship thriller at Affidea Stadium, with the home side denied victory by a controversial late penalty try. The match featured 11 tries and a decisive TMO review that overturned a match-sealing tackle by Ulster's Nathan Doak, who was yellow-carded for shoulder-to-head contact and awarded the penalty try.

Werner Kok starred with a hat-trick for Ulster, adding to tries from Zac Ward, Michael Lowry and Eric O'Sullivan. Stormers responded through tries from Evan Roos, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu (two), and Imad Khan, with Feinberg-Mngomezulu perfect with the boot. The visitors had a man sent off late when Iain Henderson's red card was upgraded from a yellow during the closing stages.

The result leaves Ulster stronger in the hunt for top-eight qualification, though they failed to move into the lead alone. Stormers missed the chance to top the table and secure home play-off advantage. Both sides head into next week's final round with playoff positions very much up for grabs.
