Centre Fabien Brau-Boirie will make his France debut in Sunday's Six Nations match against Wales at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The 20-year-old Toulouse player, who has scored nine tries in 15 games for Pau this season, replaces injured Nicolas Depoortere and Yoram Moefana in the midfield. Nine tries in 2025-26 highlight his impressive form for the French club. France coach Fabien Galthie made two enforced changes to the starting XV that beat Ireland 36-14, also recalling lock Thibaud Flament after his wife's fertility treatment delayed his Six Nations opener. France's seven-match winning streak against Wales dating back to 2019 adds significance to the fixture.

Wales, beaten 48-7 by England, will name their side on Friday. Brau-Boirie joins Emilien Gailleton in midfield, with Antoine Dupont and Matthieu Jalibert starting together for the first time since 2021.
