Vaibhav Sooryavanshi delivered a stunning 93 off just 38 balls with 10 sixes to propel Rajasthan Royals past Lucknow Super Giants. The 15-year-old prodigy hit 88 of his runs from boundaries, briefly reclaiming the top spot in the tournament's run-scoring charts. His breathtaking innings dominated the already-eliminated Super Giants.

Despite growing national team calls, Sooryavanshi was omitted from India's ODI squad to face Afghanistan. Instead, selector Ajit Agarkar revealed the teenager has been named in an India A squad to tour Sri Lanka after the IPL. Agarkar explained they picked him because he is "young and immensely promising." Rajasthan now sits fourth in the table.

After Sooryavanshi's dismissal, Dhruv Jurel's unbeaten 53 ensured victory for Rajasthan, which moves them within one win of securing a playoff spot. The Royals need only one more victory against Mumbai Indians in their final match to seal a place in the knockouts. Earlier, Mitchell Marsh had crunched 96 for Lucknow, putting on 109 for the first wicket with Josh Inglis.
