Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare forced the cancellation of a training session after refusing to leave the pitch. The 25-year-old sat down and demanded the club allow him to move to Fiorentina, who had a bid rejected by Wolves. The club had previously accepted an offer from Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Arokodare's actions led to new boss Cesar Peixoto terminating the session on Monday. He will not feature in Wednesday's friendly at Maidenhead United as Wolves continue their pre-season preparations. This incident follows a previous disciplinary action against Arokodare in April after a confrontation with forward Mateus Mane.

Arokodare joined Wolves for £24m from Genk last summer but scored only three league goals as the team was relegated from the Premier League. The incident marks an early challenge for Peixoto, who replaced Rob Edwards last month and aims to secure an immediate return to the top flight.
