Wolves have rejected a bid from Leeds United for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen. The offer fell well below Wolves' £40m asking price and arrived several days ago. The Norwegian forward, who signed a new five-year deal in September, is available for transfer if a suitable offer materialises.

Strand Larsen has struggled in the Premier League, scoring just one league goal this season despite a hat-trick in the FA Cup. Wolves, bottom of the table, are reshaping their squad for a likely relegation battle. His poor form and a strained relationship with fans make his departure probable.

The 25-year-old joined from Celta Vigo last year for £23m after an initial loan, hitting 14 goals last season. Newcastle failed with bids of £50m and £55m in August, while Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and Crystal Palace have also shown interest. Wolves are also negotiating defender Emmanuel Agbadou's sale to Besiktas.
