Scotland manager Steve Clarke has confirmed the Scottish FA hasn't put a new contract offer in front of him as he approaches the end of his current deal. The former Chelsea and St Mirren defender, who won six Scotland caps, stated the ball is now in the SFA's court regarding his future with the national team.

Clarke has slightly shifted his own mindset on staying with Scotland, having previously estimated his chances at just 25%. He now considers himself "50-50" and isn't concerned that nothing's yet resolved regarding his contract extension. "I've had a very brief conversation with Ian [Maxwell, SFA chief executive] about what they want to do moving forward," Clarke added.

Scotland will play Haiti on June 14 and Morocco on June 19 in Massachusetts before finishing Group C against Brazil in Miami on June 24. Clarke admits he's waiting for the SFA to present their vision for the future and confirm whether he remains part of their plans. The manager recently visited potential sites in the United States before settling on Charlotte and Fort Lauderdale as the two main bases for his squad this summer.
