Robbie Williams has signed a two-year deal to become Port Vale's shirt sponsor and charity ambassador. The pop star's RW mark will feature on the front of home and away shirts, while he promotes the club's charitable initiatives through his global profile.

Williams, who grew up near Vale Park, has supported the club since childhood. He recalled paying just 50p for junior tickets and said the Railway Paddock 'raised' him. This personal connection drove his decision to partner with the League One side.

The Port Vale Foundation delivers health, education, inclusion and opportunity projects across Stoke-on-Trent. Williams credited chair Carol Shanahan and her team for the work that brought him back to the club, calling the partnership a 'match made in heaven.'

CEO Matt Hancock said the deal means 'a huge amount' because Williams represents both global stardom and genuine local connection. The sponsorship will boost the club's profile while advancing its community work, proving football's reach extends beyond the pitch.

The collaboration combines celebrity influence with grassroots impact, giving Port Vale a unique platform to expand their charitable reach.
