Liverpool unveiled renderings of a new tribute to the late Portuguese forward Diogo Jota and his younger brother Andre Silva. Both perished in a July 3 car crash in Zamora, Spain. The club describes the piece as a celebration of their lives, the bond they shared, and the worldwide affection they inspired.

The sculpture adopts a flowing‑heart motif echoing Jota’s signature celebration after scoring. Engraved numbers 20 and 30 represent the brothers’ shirts, while the lyrics to Jota’s anthem – sung by Anfield fans in the 20th minute of every match – are also etched into the metal. The work bears the title Forever 20.

Fans have already begun chanting the refrain at Anfield, turning the memorial into a living part of matchday ritual. Teammates recall Jota’s work ethic and his ability to link play, qualities that still influence Liverpool’s attacking patterns. The tribute arrives as the Reds chase a top‑four finish, reminding supporters of the human side behind the competition.

With the Diogo Jota memorial set to be installed outside the club’s training ground before the season’s final stretch, Liverpool aims to anchor its emotional narrative in stone as much as on the pitch. The piece will stand as a permanent reminder of the brothers’ impact on the game.
