England's World Cup squad arrived in West Palm Beach, Florida for pre-tournament preparations under Thomas Tuchel. The team will train in Kansas City, Missouri before dispersing to match venues across the United States for next summer's 2026 World Cup in North America.

Tuchel selected Missouri as their base because it sits in the same time zone as Dallas, where England opens Group L against Croatia on June 17. He also arranged for players to holiday in the US or Caribbean beforehand, helping them adjust to the heat and time differences before facing Ghana and Panama.

The camp includes several young Premier League talents. Alex Scott, Rio Ngumoha, Josh King and Ethan Nwaneri earned call-ups alongside Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele, who remains uncapped at senior level. This early exposure gives Tuchel valuable assessment time before final squad decisions.

These preparations represent England's first major steps toward the 2026 World Cup, with Tuchel blending experienced players and emerging talent in his pursuit of success across three venues and multiple time zones.
