England's World Cup squad has organized a team-bonding dinner in Miami after Thomas Tuchel granted time off from their intense Florida training camp. The players have been based in West Palm Beach since June 1, completing demanding sessions in searing heat to prepare for tournament conditions across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Their 3-0 victory over Costa Rica in Orlando concluded the warm-up schedule, followed by a behind-closed-doors match against local side Miami United. Tuchel's approach has emphasized player relaxation, though he reportedly voiced frustration during halftime of the labored 1-0 win against New Zealand. The squad will enjoy a day and a half off before flying to Kansas City for the finals.

Players have spent downtime playing golf, with American golfer Brooks Koepka joining them on the course alongside European Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter. Families have been permitted access to the camp, offering players flexibility after training sessions.

However, stricter controls await in Kansas City compared to previous tournament regimes. While families can visit after matches, movement away from the team hotel will be more restricted as Tuchel prioritizes match preparation over player freedom.
