Safari Technology Preview Release 248 is now available for macOS Golden Gate and macOS Tahoe. This update includes numerous WebKit changes, addressing issues across various categories.

Key improvements involve Accessibility, with fixes for VoiceOver navigation and aria-labelledby updates. CSS enhancements include support for forwarding missing color components and the `no-clamp` option for the `progress()` function, alongside fixes for at-rules, selectors, color-scheme, scroll snap, preload scanning, and view transitions. Editing saw fixes for drag images, DOM mutations, and editable table behavior.

Forms, Images, JavaScript, Media, Navigation, Networking, Rendering, and SVG also received attention. Notably, JavaScript now supports the TC39 Big Int Math proposal. Media playback and orientation issues are resolved, and SVG rendering has seen significant fixes for complex scripts, length conversions, and attribute application.

Scrolling and Security have been addressed, with fixes for scroll snap points and Content Security Policy violations and parsing. Storage issues with Indexed DB transactions are improved, and Web API features like the Async Clipboard API and Digital Credentials have been refined. The update can be downloaded directly or through System Settings for existing users.
